One of our representatives will pick you up at the airport and accompany you to the hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we will visit some of the most important places in the capital. In the evening, we will have a meeting at the hotel to brief you on the entire trip.

Day 2 : Drive to Manthali and fly to Lukla, overnight at Phakding (2610m)

We leave early from Kathmandu to Manthali, a town 130 km away, from where we will take a flight to Lukla (2850 m). Today’s stage descends gently towards the bottom of the Dudh Kosi valley (“river of milk” in Nepali), where we will spend the night in the town of Phakding. In the afternoon, we will visit the more than 500-year-old monastery.

From today onwards we will be trekking on the Sagarmatha (Everest) National park , the highest National park of the world. The trail passes through various settlements Toktok, Monjo, Jorsalle, and this day we will cross the highest bridge in Larchye Dovan. The first sight of Everest can be seen today from the Tope danda. Namche/Nauche : Also called the Chamonix of Himalaya, with various shops, restaurants and hotels and a weekend market. Is also considered as the capital of Khumbu Valley.

Today will be an easy hike towards Khumjung passing via Syangboche airstrip, we will have the tea break at the famous Everest view hotel. Then, we descended to Khumjung, one of the most beautiful villages in the Everest region. We can visit the Hillary school and Khunde village.

Day 5 : Khumjung to Phortse (3840m)

The road to Phortse is very beautiful and few people pass through that route. You can see the monals (national bird), Himalayan Thar, musk deer etc. Phortse is recognized as the village of climbers, for generations it has been the main pillar of expeditions to Everest and other peaks. Each house has more than one that has reached the top of several eight thousand.

You can visit the climbing school (Khumbu climbing center) built by the Jeff Lowe Mountain Foundation.

The walk to Dingboche is easy, but due to the altitude it can be a bit difficult. The view that day is wonderful of the South Face of Lhotse, which is a giant wall and almost covers Everest, the North Face of Thabuche and Cholatse is incredible. Amadablam looks very pretty on the southwest face and from Dingboche the Mingbo face and several other nearby peaks.

We will climb to the summit of NangkarTshang Peak and then descend to rest in Dingboche.

The route today is short and straightforward, however the high altitude requires a gradual acclimatization pace. The trail passes through Thukla, where there are memorials left by mountain climbers from around the world through the years. You can find monuments from mountaineers representing numerous countries and eras gathered in this single location.

Day 9 : Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5140m) and hike to Everest Base Camp (5360m)

Today we will arrive at the renowned Everest Base Camp. Along the way we will stop in Gorak Shep, where we will spend the night so that we can leave our belongings there. This will allow us to make an excursion to visit Base Camp before returning to sleep in Gorak Shep again.

Day 10 : Gorak Shep to Kalapathar (5545m) and hike down to Pheriche (4400m)

In the morning, we will hike to the highest vantage point of our trip to witness the sunrise over Mount Everest. After breakfast, we will begin the journey back to our starting point. We will spend the night in Pheriche as we make our return.

Today most of the way we descend passing various settlements like Somare, pangboche where we encounter many trekkers, we will visit the famous Tyangboche monastery on the way, it is a long day but we can enjoy the ambience of Namche tonight.

This the only trail that we are going to repeat, we will descend from Namche saying goodbye to the Everest, the people and with all the good memories we will celebrate our last dinner in Lukla with all our staff and Guides.
