Annapurna Base Camp via Ghorepani Trek

Highlights

1-You will discover the culture of the Gurung ethnic group

Despite being a minority ethnic group, the Gurung ethnic group is the majority within the Annapurna Conservation Area. A very good opportunity to learn about their culture and lifestyle.

2- It does not require great physical preparation

Unlike other treks in Nepal, on this route you will not find large slopes and the route is suitable for anyone who wants to enjoy the mountains without having to make great efforts.

3- Great variety of landscapes

From rice fields to dense forests, without forgetting the immense river valleys and glaciers.

Overview

The Annapurna Base Camp trek uniquely combines an array of landscapes while bringing us within reach of towering 7,000m and 8,000m Himalayan giants - all within a short timeframe. This immensely popular route in the Annapurna region winds past rice terraces, verdant rhododendron forests and high mountain scenery, with the breathtaking Annapurna Range ever-present. The setting of Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130m is nothing short of spectacular, nestled amidst the soaring pinnacles of Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Machapuchare (6,993m) and Hiunchuli (6,441m).
