This 15-day journey begins in Kathmandu with cultural sightseeing and preparation before heading west to Besisahar, the gateway to the Annapurna region. The mountain biking route follows the classic Annapurna Circuit trail, gradually ascending through the Marsyangdi Valley to Manang. A dedicated acclimatization day ensures proper adaptation before tackling the demanding side trip to Tilicho Lake—one of the highest lakes in the world.
The highlight of the adventure is the crossing of Thorong La Pass (5,416 m), one of the highest rideable mountain passes on earth, followed by an exhilarating descent into the Kali Gandaki Valley. The route continues through Mustang’s wind-swept landscapes, traditional Thakali villages, and apple orchards before ending in Pokhara. The journey concludes with a return to Kathmandu for final sightseeing and departure.
This expedition is ideal for strong intermediate to advanced mountain bikers with good physical fitness and prior experience at altitude. The trip combines challenging rides, breathtaking scenery, and rich Himalayan culture into one unforgettable adventure.

A guided cultural tour of Kathmandu Valley offers an introduction to Nepal’s rich history, spirituality, and architecture. Key highlights include Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) with panoramic city views, Pashupatinath Temple, Nepal’s most sacred Hindu site on the Bagmati River, and Boudhanath Stupa, one of the world’s largest Buddhist stupas. The visit is completed with time in Kathmandu Durbar Square, showcasing ancient palaces, temples, and traditional Newari craftsmanship.

Early this morning, we take a scenic domestic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Weather permitting, the short flight offers breathtaking aerial views of the Annapurna and Manaslu ranges before descending into the Kathmandu Valley. Upon arrival, we transfer to our hotel and enjoy a well-earned rest after the adventure in the mountains.
Later in the day, we explore some of Kathmandu’s most iconic cultural landmarks. Visits may include the ancient Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, and the serene Boudhanath Stupa—one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world.
