Dhampus Peak, standing at an elevation of 6,012 meters (19,724 feet), is also known as Thapa Peak. This mountain is situated to the northeast of the Dhaulagiri massif, surrounded by the towering peaks of Tukuche (6,920 meters) and the mighty Dhaulagiri (8,167 meters). The trekking route to Dhampus Peak lies between the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, offering a breathtaking journey through the heart of the Himalayas.
In terms of technical difficulty, Dhampus Peak is considered an accessible mountain for climbers. It presents an excellent opportunity for beginners seeking to gain experience on natural Himalayan terrain at high altitudes.
