Our trekking adventure begins as we head toward the picturesque Dudh Khola Valley. Along the way, we pass through Tilche, a traditional Gurung village known for its warm hospitality, cultural charm, and stone-built houses.

The trail to Gowa is relatively easy and scenic, making it a pleasant start to the trek. Once we reach Gowa, we’re rewarded with breathtaking views of the high Himalayan peaks, offering a perfect spot to rest and soak in the natural beauty of the Annapurna region.

After breakfast, we begin our trek passing through the small, charming settlement of Surke. Beyond Surke, the trail leads into largely untouched wilderness, with no other villages or settlements nearby—offering excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings. Keep an eye out for elusive animals such as the musk deer, yellow-throated marten, Himalayan thar, and even leopards in their natural habitat.

After breakfast, we’ll take a comfortable jeep ride from our lodge to Besisahar, the gateway to the Annapurna region. Upon arrival, we’ll transfer to another vehicle for the scenic drive to Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s premier wildlife destination. Today’s journey offers a spectacular transition from the towering Himalayan mountains to the lush, subtropical Terai plains, showcasing Nepal’s diverse landscapes.

After breakfast, our exciting day begins with a peaceful canoe ride on the Rapti River. Glide along calm waters as you spot crocodiles, a variety of bird species, and with some luck, even one-horned rhinoceros in their natural habitat. We’ll also visit the elephant breeding center, learning about Nepal’s majestic elephants and conservation efforts.

Following lunch, get ready for an exhilarating jeep safari through the dense jungle. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife including the elusive Bengal tiger, wild elephants, one-horned rhinoceros, bears, gaur (Indian bison), leopards, wild boars, gharial and mugger crocodiles, various turtle species, numerous birds, and several types of deer.
